Growth Opportunity: We are hiring an experienced property/casualty actuarial analyst for the position of consulting actuary. The successful candidate will become familiar with current clients, with the goal of becoming the lead on these clients within a few years, as well as developing new clients.
Activities include:

Correspond with clients to request data and other information in preparation for analyses

Assist in processing data from clients

Perform reserve analyses, funding analyses, data analyses, and other actuarial services

Present findings of analyses to clients
-
Participate in client calls and visits
-
Invoice clients
-
Perform peer reviews of analyses done by other consultants
-
Solicit new clients and prepare proposals for analyses to meet prospective clients’ needs

Participate in continual improvements to processes, models, and techniques
Minimum Requirements:
-
4+ CAS exams
-
3+ years of property/casualty actuarial experience
-
Strong knowledge of actuarial techniques and concepts
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
