Growth Opportunity:  We are hiring an experienced property/casualty actuarial analyst for the position of consulting actuary.  The successful candidate will become familiar with current clients, with the goal of becoming the lead on these clients within a few years, as well as developing new clients.

Activities include:

  • Correspond with clients to request data and other information in preparation for analyses

  • Assist in processing data from clients

  • Perform reserve analyses, funding analyses, data analyses, and other actuarial services

  • Present findings of analyses to clients

  • Participate in client calls and visits

  • Invoice clients

  • Perform peer reviews of analyses done by other consultants

  • Solicit new clients and prepare proposals for analyses to meet prospective clients’ needs

  • Participate in continual improvements to processes, models, and techniques

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4+ CAS exams

  • 3+ years of property/casualty actuarial experience

  • Strong knowledge of actuarial techniques and concepts

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to think creatively / imaginatively

  • We can be flexible as to work schedule
